FAQ’s for Nannies

How do I register with you?

  • You can simply fill out an enquiry form CLICK HERE or call 02920444705 you will then be contacted and if you’re interested, we will take the process further.

What happens next?

  • Once you have filled out the Application Form, we will be in touch to schedule an interview or advise you on your next best steps.

Am I employed by you or the family?

  • By us. This saves the awkward chats conversation and time. It also means that you won’t get in a situation where a family doesn’t really understand what to expect from a Nanny, so everything is done on your behalf.

Will you pay my taxes and other costs?

  • Yes, you’ll be on our payroll, which means you are on a PAYE system, where your tax code will be used, and the appropriate NI and pension contributions are paid. You will receive a payslip weekly and a P60 every year.

Do I have to be able to drive?

  • Mostly, yes. For drivers, you’ll need business insurance and all the legal aspects of car ownership. We do have non driving roles, so please just make it clear if you’re not a driver.

Do I need to be qualified?

  • Again, this is a mostly yes answer. At Everycare Nannies, we want our families to have the best quality Nannies from us. This is usually in the form of a qualified and experienced Nanny. Career Nannies are very welcome. We do understand that life experience, such as parenthood, give you appropriate experience in some circumstances, so do please ask.

What do I need to work in the UK?

  • You need either a UK passport, UK birth certificate. Or if not a UK citizen, pre settled status or settled status.

How old do I need to be?

  • Over 18.
